Part I · Pre-Launch Draft v2.0
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WRLDGATE™, including WRLDGATE websites, applications, accounts, WorldCards™, Worlds, VYRON™, discovery systems, interfaces, and related products, features, services, and technologies (collectively, the “Service”).
The Service is operated by [WRLDGATE LEGAL ENTITY NAME], referred to in these Terms as “WRLDGATE,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service where these Terms are presented for acceptance, you agree to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy describes how personal information is processed in connection with the Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Service.
1Eligibility
You must satisfy WRLDGATE’s applicable minimum-age requirement.
The minimum age to create a WRLDGATE account and use the Service is 13 years.
WRLDGATE does not knowingly authorize use by persons below the established minimum age.
If you are below the age at which you may independently enter into these Terms under applicable law, additional authorization from a parent or legal guardian may be required where WRLDGATE permits such use.
You may not use WRLDGATE if:
- applicable law prohibits your use of the Service;
- WRLDGATE has terminated your account and prohibited you from returning;
- you attempt to circumvent an applicable age restriction;
- you use the Service on behalf of an organization without authority to bind that organization; or
- your use would violate sanctions, export controls, or other applicable legal restrictions.
WRLDGATE may establish different eligibility requirements for particular products or features.
FOUNDER DECISION REQUIRED: Establish the age-screening mechanism and underage-account response process before launch.
2Accounts
Some or all WRLDGATE features require an account.
When creating or maintaining an account, you agree to provide required information accurately and keep it reasonably current.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account except to the extent caused by WRLDGATE or otherwise provided by applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate control over your credentials.
You must promptly notify WRLDGATE through [SECURITY CONTACT / ACCOUNT RECOVERY PROCESS] if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not:
- create an account through deceptive or fraudulent means;
- create unauthorized automated accounts;
- use another person’s account without authorization;
- buy, sell, transfer, or provide account access contrary to WRLDGATE rules;
- evade an account restriction or termination; or
- create accounts primarily to manipulate WRLDGATE systems.
3Handles and World IDs
WRLDGATE may allow users to claim a unique @handle, which may function as a recognizable identifier or World ID within WRLDGATE.
A handle is a platform identifier. Claiming one does not transfer ownership of the underlying word, phrase, personal name, business name, trademark, or other intellectual property.
Handles remain subject to WRLDGATE’s technical and policy rules.
You may not claim or use a handle:
- to impersonate another person, organization, public figure, government entity, business, brand, or World;
- to falsely imply affiliation, authority, verification, endorsement, or official status;
- to infringe intellectual-property rights;
- primarily to prevent a legitimate person or rights holder from using it;
- for phishing, fraud, scams, harassment, malware, or abuse;
- through bulk or automated registration intended to manipulate availability;
- to mislead users about a World or external destination; or
- to evade prior enforcement.
WRLDGATE may reserve, rename, restrict, reclaim, transfer, suspend, or remove a handle when reasonably necessary to:
- address impersonation;
- address rights-holder claims;
- enforce these Terms or other policies;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- comply with law;
- protect users;
- protect platform integrity; or
- administer inactive, abandoned, reserved, or disputed identifiers under WRLDGATE’s published rules.
A handle should not be treated as permanent property unless WRLDGATE expressly states otherwise.
FOUNDER + COUNSEL DECISION REQUIRED: Establish a separate Handle Policy covering:
- syntax;
- reserved handles;
- inactive handles;
- squatting;
- trademark disputes;
- impersonation;
- public figures;
- organizations;
- government accounts;
- transfers;
- sales;
- post-deletion treatment;
- abandoned handles;
- appeals; and
- reassignment.
4WorldCards™
A WorldCard™ is a WRLDGATE identity and discovery surface associated with an account, handle, World, organization, or other supported entity.
A WorldCard may display:
- a handle;
- display name;
- profile image;
- description;
- links;
- World information;
- public content;
- status;
- verification information where supported; and
- other fields offered through the Service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a WorldCard is not:
- government-issued identification;
- proof of legal identity;
- professional licensing;
- proof of ownership of an external business or website;
- legal certification;
- financial verification; or
- a guarantee that a person or entity is authentic.
If WRLDGATE later offers verification, the meaning of each verification method or badge must be defined separately.
You may not use a WorldCard to deceive, impersonate, defraud, falsely claim authority, conceal malicious activity, or mislead users about who controls an associated World.
5Worlds
A World is a digital destination that people can enter, experience, interact with, or return to through WRLDGATE.
A World may include or connect to profiles, media, information, discussions, applications, services, experiences, links, commerce, external destinations, or other supported functionality.
WRLDGATE may distinguish among different categories of Worlds, including:
WRLDGATE-Operated Worlds
A World directly operated by WRLDGATE.
User- or Organization-Operated Worlds
A World created, managed, or controlled by a user, business, organization, creator, or other third party using WRLDGATE functionality.
External Destinations
A third-party website, application, service, or destination that WRLDGATE helps users discover or access but does not operate.
The identity of the operator and the nature of the relationship may affect which terms, privacy practices, content rules, and responsibilities apply.
Creating, claiming, or controlling a World does not transfer ownership of WRLDGATE software, infrastructure, systems, trademarks, product architecture, or platform technology.
World operators are responsible for content and activity under their control.
They may not represent that WRLDGATE endorses, owns, certifies, sponsors, or guarantees their World unless WRLDGATE has expressly authorized that representation.
FOUNDER + ENGINEERING DECISION REQUIRED: Maintain an internal authoritative operator/control status for every World.
6External Destinations and Third-Party Services
WRLDGATE may help users discover or enter destinations operated by third parties.
Third-party destinations may have their own:
- terms;
- privacy practices;
- security systems;
- content rules;
- transactions;
- subscriptions;
- products;
- services; and
- dispute procedures.
WRLDGATE does not control a third-party service merely because WRLDGATE indexes it, displays a WorldCard for it, links to it, recommends it, or enables users to enter it.
Where reasonably clear from the interface, users should be able to understand when they are leaving WRLDGATE or interacting with an external operator.
WRLDGATE is not responsible for third-party products, services, content, or practices except to the extent required by law.
7User Content
“User Content” means information or material you submit, upload, publish, transmit, link, display, generate, or otherwise make available through the Service.
User Content may include:
- profile information;
- WorldCard information;
- World information;
- posts;
- discussions;
- comments;
- prompts;
- files;
- images;
- video;
- audio;
- documents;
- links;
- descriptions;
- feedback;
- reports;
- communications where supported; and
- other supported material.
You are responsible for your User Content.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it and permit WRLDGATE to process it as described in these Terms.
8Ownership of User Content
As between you and WRLDGATE, you retain ownership of intellectual-property rights you hold in your original User Content.
Submitting content does not transfer ownership of that content to WRLDGATE.
WRLDGATE retains ownership of its own software, designs, systems, technologies, branding, and other proprietary material.
9License Necessary to Operate WRLDGATE
When you submit User Content, you grant WRLDGATE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, format, display, adapt, and distribute that content only to the extent reasonably necessary to:
- operate the Service;
- deliver the feature you selected;
- make your content available according to your settings;
- protect and secure the Service;
- detect abuse;
- maintain technical functionality;
- support interoperability among WRLDGATE features; and
- improve the Service as disclosed in these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to WRLDGATE.
The license ends when the relevant User Content is deleted from active systems, subject to:
- technically necessary backup periods;
- legal holds;
- fraud and abuse prevention;
- security requirements;
- dispute resolution;
- preservation required by law;
- content independently shared by other users where permitted; and
- other lawful retention described in the Privacy Policy.
ENGINEERING + COUNSEL VERIFICATION REQUIRED: The final deletion and backup language must match production architecture.
WRLDGATE will not claim a broader promotional, advertising, model-training, or commercial-use license merely through this operational license unless that use is expressly disclosed and legally supported.
10Public Content
Certain account, handle, WorldCard, World, or User Content information may be designated public.
Public content may be visible:
- to other WRLDGATE users;
- to people without WRLDGATE accounts;
- through shared links;
- through public WorldCards;
- through public Worlds; and
- potentially through search engines or other external indexing services where enabled.
FOUNDER + ENGINEERING DECISION REQUIRED: Establish which fields are public by default, private by default, optional, required, and externally indexable.
Users should not publish sensitive information they do not want made public.
11WRLDGATE Intellectual Property
WRLDGATE and its licensors retain all rights in the Service not expressly granted under these Terms.
This may include rights in:
- software;
- source code;
- interfaces;
- designs;
- technologies;
- databases;
- documentation;
- systems;
- trademarks;
- service marks;
- names;
- logos;
- proprietary features; and
- platform architecture.
WRLDGATE™, WorldCard™, VYRON™, and other names, marks, or identifiers designated by WRLDGATE may be trademarks, pending trademarks, service marks, or other protected brand assets.
You may not copy, commercially exploit, reproduce, distribute, license, or reverse engineer protected portions of the Service except as authorized by WRLDGATE or permitted under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to use WRLDGATE branding in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or official status.
12Copyright and Intellectual-Property Complaints
WRLDGATE respects intellectual-property rights.
Users must not upload, distribute, or use content they do not have the legal right to use.
WRLDGATE may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material in accordance with applicable law and WRLDGATE procedures.
WRLDGATE may terminate or restrict users determined to be repeat infringers under WRLDGATE’s applicable repeat-infringer policy.
COUNSEL + OPERATIONS REQUIRED BEFORE BROAD UGC LAUNCH: WRLDGATE must establish:
- a copyright complaint process;
- a designated copyright contact;
- a DMCA agent registration if WRLDGATE intends to rely on applicable U.S. Section 512 protections;
- valid notice intake procedures;
- counter-notification procedures;
- restoration procedures where applicable;
- a repeat-infringer policy;
- infringement recordkeeping;
- escalation procedures; and
- an IP appeal process where appropriate.
Copyright complaints should be directed to:
[DMCA / COPYRIGHT AGENT INFORMATION]

You may not use WRLDGATE to:
- violate applicable law;

- impersonate others;
- engage in targeted harassment or stalking;
- threaten unlawful violence;
- distribute malware;
- facilitate unauthorized system access;
- conduct denial-of-service activity;
- exploit vulnerabilities without authorization;
- bypass access controls;
- evade rate limits;
- manipulate discovery, ranking, traffic, engagement, or platform metrics;
- create unauthorized automated accounts;
- conduct prohibited scraping or harvesting;
- send spam;
- coordinate deceptive or inauthentic activity;

- use deceptive redirects;
- misrepresent a World or destination;
- circumvent enforcement;
- abuse reporting or appeal systems; or
- knowingly assist another person in violating these Terms.
Additional behavioral requirements appear in the WRLDGATE Community Guidelines.
14VYRON™ and Artificial Intelligence
WRLDGATE may provide AI-powered functionality through VYRON™.
VYRON may support features such as:
- information retrieval;
- discovery;
- navigation;
- World discovery;
- conversation;
- assistance with WRLDGATE functionality;
- content interaction;
- recommendations;
- planning; and
- other functionality introduced by WRLDGATE.
AI Outputs May Be Incorrect
AI systems may produce information that is:
- inaccurate;
- incomplete;
- outdated;
- misleading;
- inappropriate;
- incorrectly attributed; or
- inconsistent.
You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them.
Sources
Where VYRON presents citations or sources, those references should be evaluated independently.
A citation does not guarantee that VYRON’s interpretation of the source is correct.
High-Stakes Decisions
Unless WRLDGATE expressly introduces a feature designed, tested, and legally authorized for a particular regulated use, VYRON should not be relied upon as the sole basis for consequential decisions involving:
- medical diagnosis or treatment;
- legal rights;
- financial or investment decisions;
- employment;
- housing;
- credit;
- insurance;
- education admissions;
- public benefits;
- emergency response; or
- another decision materially affecting rights, health, safety, or livelihood.
VYRON is not a substitute for an appropriately qualified professional where professional judgment is required.
VYRON Inputs
You are responsible for information you submit to VYRON.
Do not submit information:
- you do not have authority to provide;
- that violates another person’s rights;
- that is unlawful to disclose; or
- that violates WRLDGATE policies.
AI Data Processing
The Privacy Policy describes how prompts, files, conversation context, outputs, account information, logs, and related data are processed.
WRLDGATE must not represent that VYRON conversations are confidential, unreviewed, unlogged, untrained-on, permanently private, or deleted within a specific period unless the production system and provider agreements support that representation.
FOUNDER + ENGINEERING + COUNSEL DECISION REQUIRED: Determine:
- AI providers;
- model infrastructure;
- prompt storage;
- output storage;
- retention;
- conversation history;
- model training;
- product improvement;
- provider training rights;
- human review;
- personalization;
- memory;
- safety review;
- account association;
- sensitive-data processing;
- deletion;
- model routing;
- subprocessors; and
- international transfers.
15VYRON Actions and User Authorization
VYRON may eventually be capable of taking actions through WRLDGATE or connected services.
An AI suggestion, prediction, inference, intent classification, or recommendation is not itself authorization to perform a consequential action.
Where WRLDGATE enables VYRON to perform consequential actions, WRLDGATE should use confirmation, authorization, or other safeguards appropriate to the action.
Examples may include:
- sending communications;
- publishing content;
- changing account settings;
- changing privacy settings;
- deleting data;
- making purchases;
- initiating payments;
- entering contracts;
- modifying a World;
- granting access;
- connecting external accounts; or
- performing another materially consequential act.
FOUNDER + PRODUCT + COUNSEL DECISION REQUIRED: Establish which actions require explicit user confirmation and what evidence of authorization is retained.
16Reporting and Safety
Users may report content, accounts, handles, Worlds, WorldCards, links, or other activity believed to violate WRLDGATE rules.
Reports may be submitted through:
[IN-APP REPORTING TOOL / SAFETY URL / EMAIL]
WRLDGATE may review reports and take action in accordance with its policies and applicable law.
Submitting a report does not guarantee any particular outcome.
Do not knowingly submit false or abusive reports.
Emergency situations involving immediate danger should be directed to appropriate emergency services rather than relying on WRLDGATE as an emergency-response service.
17Child Safety
WRLDGATE prohibits child sexual exploitation and abuse.
WRLDGATE may preserve, restrict, remove, or report material involving apparent child sexual exploitation or abuse when required or permitted by applicable law.
COUNSEL + TRUST & SAFETY REQUIRED BEFORE BROAD UGC: Establish operational procedures for:
- detection;
- moderator escalation;
- evidence handling;
- preservation;
- legally required reporting;
- access restrictions;
- staff exposure controls;
- law-enforcement requests;
- emergency escalation; and
- account enforcement.
Children’s privacy compliance and child-safety reporting are separate legal and operational workstreams and must not be treated as interchangeable.
18Enforcement
WRLDGATE may investigate suspected violations of these Terms, Community Guidelines, or other applicable platform rules.
Depending on severity and circumstances, WRLDGATE may:
- take no action;
- issue a warning;
- remove content;
- limit visibility;
- restrict distribution;
- restrict features;
- disable or reclaim a handle;
- restrict a World;
- restrict a WorldCard;
- temporarily suspend an account;
- permanently terminate an account;
- block replacement accounts;
- preserve records;
- refer matters to an appropriate authority where legally required or reasonably necessary; or
- take other proportionate action necessary to protect WRLDGATE, users, or others.
Enforcement may consider:
- severity;
- context;
- intent;
- history;
- risk;
- harm;
- recurrence; and
- applicable law.
19Appeals
WRLDGATE may provide an opportunity to appeal certain enforcement actions.
FOUNDER + COUNSEL DECISION REQUIRED: Establish:
- appealable decisions;
- appeal deadlines;
- appeal submission methods;
- reviewer independence where appropriate;
- repeat-appeal limits;
- evidence standards; and
- finality rules.
Not every enforcement action must necessarily be appealable where law does not require it.
20Suspension and Termination
You may stop using WRLDGATE at any time.
WRLDGATE may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of:
- violation of these Terms;
- violation of Community Guidelines;
- repeated infringement;
- fraud;
- security threats;
- account compromise;
- serious abuse;
- legal obligations;
- evasion of previous enforcement; or
- conduct creating material risk to WRLDGATE or others.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, WRLDGATE may provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.
21Account Deletion
WRLDGATE intends to provide a process for eligible users to request or initiate account deletion.
Deletion does not necessarily mean that every record disappears immediately.
Certain information may remain where reasonably necessary for:
- legal obligations;
- fraud prevention;
- security;
- disputes;
- abuse prevention;
- legal holds;
- backups;
- financial records;
- rights enforcement; or
- other lawful purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
ENGINEERING + PRIVACY + COUNSEL DECISION REQUIRED: Finalize the deletion process, timelines, handle treatment, World treatment, WorldCard treatment, VYRON-history treatment, and backup handling before publication.
22Changes to the Service
WRLDGATE is an evolving platform.
WRLDGATE may add, remove, modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue features or portions of the Service.
Where applicable law requires notice of a change affecting legal rights, WRLDGATE will provide notice appropriate to the circumstances.
23Changes to These Terms
WRLDGATE may update these Terms to reflect changes in:
- the Service;
- applicable law;
- legal requirements;
- safety practices;
- technology;
- security;
- business operations; or
- product functionality.
The effective date of the current Terms will be identified above.
Where required, WRLDGATE will provide notice of material changes.
WRLDGATE should maintain retrievable historical versions of Terms associated with recorded user acceptance events.
24Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
WRLDGATE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
WRLDGATE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, OR SAFETY OF:

26Indemnification
COUNSEL REVIEW REQUIRED.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, users acting for a business, organization, professional practice, commercial operation, or other legal entity may be required to defend, indemnify, or hold WRLDGATE harmless from certain claims resulting from:
- unlawful conduct;
- User Content;
- infringement;
- operation of a World;
- violation of these Terms; or
- violation of another person’s rights.
FOUNDER + COUNSEL DECISION REQUIRED: Determine whether any indemnification obligation applies to individual consumers or only organizational/commercial users.
27Governing Law and Disputes
COUNSEL REVIEW REQUIRED BEFORE PUBLICATION.
Final Terms must specify:

- whether arbitration applies;
- whether arbitration is mandatory or optional;
- class-action treatment;
- jury-waiver treatment if applicable;
- informal dispute procedures;
