Community Guidelines

1Participate Without Targeted Abuse

Disagreement, criticism, debate, parody, and controversial discussion may be permitted.

Targeted abuse is not.

Do not use WRLDGATE to repeatedly harass, stalk, intimidate, shame, or target another person in violation of these Guidelines.

2Threats and Violence

Do not credibly threaten unlawful violence.

Do not use WRLDGATE to materially coordinate, encourage, or facilitate violent wrongdoing.

Context may matter, including:

• journalism;
• documentary material;
• education;
• historical discussion;
• prevention;
• counterspeech;
• fictional material; and
• legitimate public-interest discussion.

3Hateful or Discriminatory Abuse

Do not attack or dehumanize people based on protected characteristics defined under WRLDGATE policy and applicable law.

WRLDGATE may distinguish between discussion of controversial issues and targeted hateful abuse.

4Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

WRLDGATE prohibits content or conduct involving:

• non-consensual sexual exploitation;
• sexual extortion;
• trafficking;
• coercive sexual abuse; or
• facilitation of such abuse.

Serious violations may result in immediate termination and legally required reporting.

5Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse

Child sexual exploitation or abuse is prohibited.

Do not:

• sexualize minors;
• solicit sexual material from minors;
• groom minors;
• exploit minors;
• distribute child sexual abuse material;
• facilitate exploitation;
• threaten to distribute exploitative material involving a minor; or
• use WRLDGATE to coordinate abusive contact with minors.

WRLDGATE may preserve and report apparent violations as required or permitted by law.

6Fraud and Scams

Do not use WRLDGATE to deceive others for money, credentials, assets, access, identity information, or another benefit.

Examples include:

• phishing;
• fraudulent investments;
• fake giveaways;
• fraudulent commerce;
• deceptive fundraising;
• credential theft;
• account theft;
• impersonation scams; and
• malicious redirects.

7Impersonation

You may discuss, criticize, parody, or create fan material where otherwise allowed.

You may not materially mislead users into believing you are another person, organization, business, public figure, government body, or other entity.

WRLDGATE may require parody, commentary, or fan accounts to make their nature clear.

8Spam and Platform Manipulation

Do not manipulate WRLDGATE through:

• unauthorized mass-account creation;
• automated spam;
• fake engagement;
• artificial traffic;
• ranking manipulation;
• discovery manipulation;
• bulk handle registration;
• coordinated deceptive activity;
• malicious redirects;
• enforcement evasion; or
• abuse of reporting systems.

9Illegal Activity

Do not use WRLDGATE to conduct, solicit, organize, or materially facilitate unlawful activity.

WRLDGATE may restrict activity when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users and platform integrity.

10Dangerous Content

WRLDGATE may restrict content that meaningfully facilitates serious physical harm.

Context matters.

Educational, scientific, journalistic, historical, prevention, safety, and recovery-related material may be treated differently from material intended to enable wrongdoing.

11Intellectual Property

Do not publish material you do not have the right to use.

Rights holders may report suspected infringement through WRLDGATE’s copyright or intellectual-property process.

Repeated infringement may result in account restrictions or termination.

12Privacy and Doxxing

Do not publish another person’s highly sensitive private information without authorization in circumstances creating a meaningful risk of harm.

Examples may include:

• home addresses;
• personal phone numbers;
• private email addresses;
• passwords;
• authentication credentials;
• bank information;
• government identification numbers;
• non-public medical information;
• precise private location; and
• other highly sensitive identifying information.

Do not use WRLDGATE for stalking, doxxing, or exposing people to harm.

13Malware and Security Abuse

Do not publish or distribute:

• malware;
• ransomware;
• credential stealers;
• malicious scripts;
• deliberately harmful downloads;
• deceptive security prompts; or
• links designed to compromise users.

Do not attempt unauthorized access to WRLDGATE or another person’s account.

Good-faith security research must follow WRLDGATE’s Vulnerability Disclosure Policy when one is published.

14Handle Abuse

Do not use a handle for:

• impersonation;
• misleading official status;
• fraud;
• malicious redirects;
• deceptive trademark use;
• prohibited squatting;
• unauthorized bulk registration; or
• enforcement evasion.

Additional rules may appear in the WRLDGATE Handle Policy.

15WorldCard Misuse

Do not configure a WorldCard to:

• impersonate another person;
• falsely claim verification;
• falsely claim credentials;
• falsely claim affiliation;
• direct users to malware;
• conceal fraudulent activity; or
• materially mislead users about who operates a World.

16World Misuse

World owners and managers are responsible for conduct under their control.

Do not create or operate a World primarily to:

• scam visitors;
• impersonate another destination;
• distribute malware;
• host prohibited material;
• evade enforcement;
• facilitate serious abuse; or
• deceptively redirect users.

17External-Link Abuse

Links and Worlds must not be configured to intentionally conceal malicious destinations.

WRLDGATE may restrict links associated with:

• phishing;
• malware;
• credential theft;
• deceptive redirects;
• serious fraud; or
• other prohibited activity.

18Reporting

Users may report:

• content;
• accounts;
• Worlds;
• WorldCards;
• handles;
• links; or
• other activity

through:

Reports should contain enough information to locate and evaluate the issue.

Do not intentionally submit false reports.

19Enforcement

Depending on severity and context, WRLDGATE may:

• take no action;
• issue a warning;
• remove content;
• limit visibility;
• restrict distribution;
• restrict features;
• change or remove a handle;
• restrict a World;
• restrict a WorldCard;
• suspend an account;
• terminate an account;
• block replacement accounts;
• preserve evidence; or
• make legally required reports.

Serious violations may result in immediate action.

20Appeals

Certain enforcement decisions may be appealable.

21Guidelines May Evolve

These Guidelines may change as WRLDGATE introduces new forms of content, communication, Worlds, AI functionality, transactions, and interaction.

New high-risk product categories should receive specific safety and legal review rather than relying entirely on generic existing rules.
